How to play Connected
- Sixteen words sit in a grid. Four of them share a secret category; another four share a different one; and so on — four groups in all.
- Tap four words you think go together, then press Submit.
- Get all four right and that group locks in with its color. Guess wrong and you use up one of four mistakes.
- Solve all four groups before your four mistakes run out. Everyone gets the same puzzle each day.
Controls. Tap to select up to four words (tap again to deselect). Shuffle rearranges the grid; Deselect all clears your pick; Submit checks the four.
Scoring
Fewer mistakes is better — a clean sweep (0 mistakes) is the goal. A result posts a spoiler-free colored-grid card to your groups, and solving on consecutive days builds a streak.
Strategy tips
- Start with the group you're MOST certain has exactly four — don't submit a group you're only 3-sure of.
- Watch for traps: a word that seems to fit two groups belongs to only one. The tighter fit usually wins.
- The four color tiers go easy (🟨) to tricky (🟪). The purple group is the sneakiest — often it's just whatever's left once the others are solved.
