How to play Thinking Test
- About 17 questions spanning Reasoning, Verbal, Spatial, Numerical, Working Memory, Recall and Speed.
- Some sections are timed (the memory and speed parts) — you can't go back on those, so focus.
- Every sitting uses fresh questions, so retaking it is a real re-measure, not a memory test.
Controls. Tap your answer for multiple-choice items; type for memory items; tap fast for the speed round. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Scoring
You get a Games140 Ability Estimate plus a score for each domain. Your very first test is your BASELINE, and every retest celebrates your progress from it. As more people test, you'll also see how you compare.
Strategy tips
- Work quickly but carefully — rushing the untimed sections costs more than it saves.
- Come back and retest after practising your weaker areas to see how your score moves.
- Progress is what matters here — improving on your own baseline is the whole point.
This is an educational estimate relative to other Games140 testers — a fun, honest measure, not a clinical test.
