How to play Word Chain
- Twelve words appear one at a time, about a second each — watch closely.
- When they finish, type every word you can remember, in any order.
- There's no penalty for a wrong guess, so type anything you think you saw.
Controls. During recall, type a word and press Enter to log it; repeat; then press 'Done — score me'.
Scoring
Score = how many of the 12 words you correctly recalled. Beat your best and build a streak.
Strategy tips
- Weave the words into a running story as they appear — narrative memory beats rote.
- Group them in chunks of 3–4 rather than trying to hold all 12 flat.
- Say each word to yourself as it flashes to encode it more strongly.
